You only have to be PC if the worshippers may be related to terrorists? (Damn, why the the IRA retire?)

Why is Iemma passing laws without parliament? Did he think he could bring this 'Large events' law in during a religious fest and think nobody would notice?

How come people can't seem to differentiate between catholics and the more 'Happyclapper' kinds of christianity?
Hint: Catholic church, has a problem with institutional abuse which they are slowly dealing with, albeit not always in the best fashion, Hillsong is a religion started by a paedophile apparently.

Why's everybody moaning about their journey's being disrupted? You've had enough time to read about this. Do you need to be spoon fed? I heard none of these complaints during the olympics, which goes to show the real religion in this country. ;)

    <lj:music>Quincy ME theme</lj:music>

Righteous indignation, that's what I'm feeling right now. Especially seeing as according to the news we're not the only poor schmoes getting ripped off for no reason in this city. You see, the problem is the extortionate attitude of the people we rent from. I have lived here for over four years and up until a few months ago had only two rent increases. The last one of those was last may and the increase was for fifteen dollars a week. That's cool, I can live with that after all I had a full time job and very little expenses. Fast forward a year and now without a job and a new family to support, I got a letter informing me of a rent increase. Okay, I thought seems a bit soon considering it wasn't even a year since the last one what are they thinking of? Well it seems a property I have helped pay the mortage on for four years has increased in value. Funny though, I was under the impression the real estate market was stalling. I was facing an increase of forty bucks a week!!! What is going on here? That's almost 3 times the last increase, in a building where you can often take your life in your own hands taking the dodgey (drop a few floors) lift. A building where some genius took a wall that was white so the transparent artwork could be seen and painted it a dark teal leaving us with square blobs on a horrid 'feature wall'. Anyway I digress, I had to swallow the increase which is hard considering I'm living on my savings, but to add insult to injury the leasing agents have not even responded to our communications, and refused to change the leaseholders names to the extent they've been contacting my previous flatmate!

Fuck it, there's nothing I can do but fantasize about winning the lotto and wrecking this place as I leave. You know, keep the fucking bond! If you don't like I can always drive a cement truck in the front of your offices. Rant ends . . .
